Service Interruption

Quick update – we’re not going to have a new episode up tomorrow, for the fairly banal reason that my girlfriend and I are fitting a new kitchen at the moment, so we’re up to our eyes in sawdust and grout. We’ll have the next episode of the podcast up as soon as we can over the next few days, though, so there won’t be too long a wait; Paul and I are as keen to discuss the Rocket Raccoon & Groot miniseries as you are to hear about it, I’m sure.
Anyway. Just thought we should let you know. Right, I’m off to hang a wall cabinet.
I met Sawdust & Grout at Maplins Ceredigion, back in ’82. Sawdust was racist and Grout stole my Spider-Man crisps. But they gave me 50p for Pac-Man, so that was okay.

Good luck – the Sawdust demon can be just as awesome an adversary as Groot! 🙂
And when you are finished for the day you can reward yourself with reading this highly ‘serious’ fashion and utility analysis of Cable’s various outfits over the years 🙂

It’s absolutely LOL 🙂
Since Rocket Raccoon is my third favourite comics character, yes, I am keen. So hurry up with the kitchen.
Heh heh, “fitting a kitchen,” eh? Is that like some kind of Scottish euphe–
Oh, wall cabinets. So you’re being literal then.
@Christopher Marcus: Shame it didn’t mention the cover to Cable & Deadpool #1, but I suppose Paul’s already given that costume the kicking it deserves back on the old X-Axis site. (From memory: “Some call Captain America a boy scout, but does he carry a sleeping bag into combat?”)
Hey Paul, what happened the old X-Axis site? It’s been taken down. Are the indexes and reviews archived anywhere else, or will they be?
I didn’t renew the hosting contract when it rolled over. And no, I won’t be posting it anywhere else.
That’s disappointing. It was such a great resource!
If you check a few posts back, somebody put a download link for the archive in the comments.
Wouldn’t they also be on Google’s cache of usenet?
Archive.org!

I imagine the Way Back Machine will have it stored as well.
Well, here it is again:
