We need a battleworld for the characters featured in the offical handbook of the offical handbook! And each classic version of the character should have to face the updated version in a fight to the death-ish kind of scenario.
Thanks for the taste of Astonishment, guys. I started listening around episode 50 and never went back to raid the archive, so while not new material, it was new to me. I miss my regular dose of Paul & Al.
Very nice to have you back;I’ve missed your obvious love of both comics & pedantry 🙂
Btw, do you (or anyone else) know where episodes 1 to 44 can be found? Mixcloud has 45 onwards, but I can’t see earlier episodes there. If they’re not online now is there any chance you could put them up sometime?
So… while this was nice, if it’s basically just a oneshot and not some sign of an upcoming new #1 or something, it’ll just leave me even more sad that HoA in its regular flavour isnt’t there anymore… 🙁

WHAAAAAAAT?
I kept waiting for the lovely KER-CHUNK as the 8track skipped over to the next segment.

I always thought the Phantom Stranger review was HtA’s high point.

Awe. NOSTALGIA.
“What the hell is this thing?”
It’s a baby, Al.
This made my week. Thanks for posting!
I absolutely loved the Razorback episode. I think Bill Mantlo is the single greatest contributor to the OHtOHoMU.
What, no Netherlands?
